Contagan is a multi-award-winning rock band created by frontman Ron Katt. Playing from Northern Indiana all the way down to the Gulf, they captivate audiences with their energy, crowd work, and performances. They play everything from 70's rock, to current rock, to pop, and other radio hits. Audiences find their themed shows iconic, unique, and engaging!
Every Contagan show has it's famous air guitar contest!
Contagan is available for hire at venues, private parties, etc.
About
Ron Katt
Singer/frontman, Ron Katt, relocated from Northern Indiana to South of Nashville, the music city, in 1996 to find the best musicians possible to form his band. He has played with the band Instrumental, along with the all-original band Broken Silence. Eventually he formed Contagan, and even got them to perform at the Warrior Dash in 2013/2014. He is now also a guest singer for the World Famous Velcro Pygmies.

Nick Spence
Drummer, Nick Spence, was born and raised South of Nashville, Tennessee. Ron met Nick when he was 8 years old and knew that someday he would be his drummer. Nick's father was the long time drummer for the famous Northern band, "Sponge." It's no wonder Nick is the most talented drummer in the Southeast! Nick has been in many well-known bands such as Armed Ideas, Martyr to the Plague, Sigil of Solipsis, Ancestors of Eden, PBR, Wendy Takes a Fall, Ashes Burning Black, and the Scotty Morton Band. Nick has also sat in and opened for Korn, sat in with the Cavaliers Drum, and played in an orchestra directed by John Williams.

Alex Rivera
Guitarist, Alex Rivera, was born and raised in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. He played with Iron Maiden's Nicko McBrain for two decades, then after moving to Florida, Alex played in the Florida Rock Circuit with popular 80's cover bands. He now resides in Trenton, Georgia. Throughout his life, he has also played with many other well-known bands such as Axis Powers, 500 Feet, Hush, Prototype 12, Response Negative Dead Men's Dreams, Metalucious, Made of Iron, Maiden Steel, and Dodgy Enterprise.

John Anthony
Bassist, John Anthony, is originally from Florida, and now resides in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He has played with many well-known artists such as Eric Lee Beddingfield, and it shows. This includes bands such as Velvet Gypsy, Eleven, 46 Hush, Jefferson Brothers Band, Jamie Lynn Barber Band, Zippertrick, and Second Floor.

Themed Shows
Contagan is well-known for their large themed productions using specialty props with acted out play-like scenes! Each themed show has a specially curated playlist to match.
Examples
Halloween Show
The Halloween Show is the most popular show of the year! Ron Katt is shown being executed in a different way every year, followed by his resurrection. The costume contest is another highlight of the night.
Alien Show
This alien themed spectacle includes hand-made foil hats for the audience, among other alien themed props. This show occasionally includes special guest Travis Taylor from The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch.
Viking Show
Audiences are encouraged to dress up in their best Viking outfits to prepare for our beer chugging contest. It's a show filled with some of their most impressive props and dialogue. It's truly a night you won't forget (unless you join the contest).
Hippiefest
This is a day-long event packed full of 60's fun, clothes, and styles. A groovy festival with booths filled with food, jewelry, and more! One of a kind hippie Contagan merch is availiable only at this event.
